    Default HEM says my trial is over??? I have a full version.

    I have been using HEM for maybe 7 months, and all of a sudden it says have an unregistered version. I paid for a full HEM and have been activated since last year.

    I cant use the pop up window to get to the web site, and am not sure what to do.

    I am sure its dead easy and I am missing something, but, any tips would be appreciated.

    Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

    For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

    And run a Windows Update and install ALL updates.

    Thanks. I will try the HEM update. I am using Windows XP, and running Avira anti virus. I have not actually consciously activated any firewall, IDK if Avira does it automatically. I use the simple free version.

    Things have worked fine till now, and I have not done any system updates ar anything else I can think of that might have caused this.

    Update XP to Service Pack 3:


    First of all, we need to enable the option to see Hidden Files: How to see hidden files in Windows

    Problems Registering Holdem Manager:

    Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)

    This is a hidden SYSTEM file. (not just a regular hidden file)


    Also please try this: (it debugs the software!)

    1. Create a new text document in the Config folder and name it LicDebug
    2. Open HM and register
    3. Close HM and delete the LicDebug.txt file



    This will allow you to enter the serial key again. And when you try to validate/activate you can see the log file why it doesn't work.

    Post that reg.log file here.

    deleted that file. still no luck should I delete and install again?? I cant register cause when I try through the link from HEM i get a failed to connect pop up....
