I gotta say, this thing is pretty painful. logs down my comp, too much flash to find what you want, i still cant figure out how to edit tournament summaries or why when I try to views results by dates, it continues to show older dates included in the figures. Wish you guys could just make a fix for the rebuy problem in the original version.

lol for me, just opening the app and letting it idle (autoimport), it starts off using about 600mb RAM, after 5mins its using 1.8gb of RAM and 25-35% CPU. Doing nothing. I thought HEM1 was resource intensive, this is ridiculous. Any1 else getting this or just me?

CPU should be close to 0% during idle - if you have notecaddy turned on then it could be processing in the background but we are working on something for that.

HM2 loads tokenized versions of all of your hands for the selected player into memory. If you have 1 million played hands that will be about 500-600MB right there. This allows you to run complex reports in seconds vs many minutes in HM1 but of course the drawback is RAM usage. RAM is very cheap and even lower end pc's have at least 4GB now and in a couple of years most pc's will have 16GB+ so this design decision made a lot of sense for us because it opens up huge possibilities however we will be doing some things where you can cap the RAM usage if you like.

Beyond the RAM taken up by storing hands into memory there are other things going on that use RAM and those things are still being worked on to make them run better and be less resource intensive.

What about people that have 6/8 year old computers? Pentium IV with 2GB RAM? Should they (i am one of them...) keep using HM1?
