Arrow Last years hands have vanished.

I started up HEM today after a 2month long break from poker. I attempted to load up a graph of last years hands and nothing appeared. I tried bringing up the hands on the reports tab and it worked fine.

I updated HEM to release version 1.11.06g. The graph still did not work and this time all my previous years hands where gone from the report. This years hands still show as do 2009's hands.

How can I fix this? I could really do with last years graph as this has chosen to happen just as I'm looking for people to stake me for a live event.

Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe and go to Filter > Clear and then Filter > Use for all. Also try enabling the Options > Settings... > Miscellaneous > [x] Auto apply filter changes to all tabs

If that doesn't solve it, try rebuilding the database.

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...+-+Backup+Tips

If the new DB works fine, your original database is corrupt.

    Export your Hand Histories
    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands

    Export Your Notes
    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/notes-02.jpg

Export Your Bonuses and Rakeback – Options > Rakeback & Bonuses http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...bonuses-01.jpg

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...ta-view-01.jpg

Then can you create a new database http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database

Finally reimport all your hands/notes/summaries into the new database

If you play a site like stars/ftp you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

    http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...Import+Folders

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

I created a new database and attempted to import HMArchive>2010. Only 360 hands imported and only 60 showed up in the reports. C>HMarchive is definitely my archive folder and always has been. The filter is completely clear.

Possible relevant is that I did a purge on all hands before 2011 a while back but I followed the instructions carefully and was under the impression stats would still be kept.

What can I try next? I played at FTP for the entirety of 2010. I'll email them asking for hands although I'm unsure whether I should re-import, start a new database or whether there are some sql options I need to tweak before hand.

Email their support and ask them to send you all your old hands, then unzip them to create a large text file of hands, and import that file to a new DB in HM.

I've done this successfully and managed to recover my FTP hands. There are 20K ongame hands I wouldn't mind transferring over. Is there anyway to do this?

Would using my original database and purging the 2010 hands then reimporting them work? I'll email mansion poker just in case they have my hands as well.

Connect to your old/original database: Options--> Database Management--> Connect--> EXPORT HANDS.

With some luck it will export your Ongame hands.
If you purged them, it won't.

And I don't think Ongame will email you your handhistories. They don't save them like Full Tilt does.
