HUD crashed if you have some cyrillic font in HUD Popup added as text.
example:
add text: " => лесен за блъф"
when popup showed - its crashed.
i think you need to restrict possibility to add cyrillic charts in popups.

Which HM version are you using, which Postgresql version and which codetype for the database (UTF or older codetype)?
When i try this with special german characters they are just ignored.
Windows 7 Ultimate
Intel CPU, Mainboard
Holdem Manager Trial 1.11.06g
PostgreSQL 9.0
Default windows cyrillic - win 1251
try to add bulgarian keyboard for your test. the example text that crashing on my PC is bulgarian language, not german.
i think the problem is coming from popup code and win1251. if you want l can make screenshot. this will help you for debug

there is another very bad problem. Popup is on top, so when crashed i cant click on poker table under popup. shift+tab not working. so, i missed important hands becouse of this. only one way to resolve this bad situation - fast start windows task manager and end HM process. this take few seconds (more then timer on poker table).
pls, fix ASAP the code in popupDesigner - ADD TEXT>>
restrict the cyrillic chartmap.

I'll write a bugreport on this.
In the meanwhile don't use cyrillic character for the popups, until we have a fix for this.
