    Default Cold call stat.

Can someone please calrify how to use this stat. My thoughts are if someone has a VPIP of 20 and PFR of 19 how can there cold call somtimes be like 5%. would this not increase the gap between there VPIP and PFR to 5% so it would be VPIP 20 PFR 15.
    Thanks Craig

The reason is because the % is based off of two different numbers. Cold calling is just when you have a raise in front of you....vpip and pfr are all actions.

Let's say sample size is 1000....you raise a total of 190 hands(this includes when there is a raise in front of you)....there are 100 hands that are raised in front of you and just call five times and you enter 5 other hands where you did not raise or cold call, but put money in the pot.

So your vpip would be 20, pfr raise 19 and cold calling 5.

So when you cold call does this not add to your VPIP?

Sorry dude. Can we break this down futher to a range. say villan is playing 20/18/ VPIP/PFR
Cold call 5 and 3bet 4. He flats a raise in MP from UTG. So if I add CC range and 3bet range I get a 9% range. he would 3bet the top 4% and cold call the lower 5% of this range. So its fair to say his cold call range is PP lower than JJ and some broadway like AQo AQs AJs

What size hand sample would you say we need to use the cold call stat?

Couple of hundred should be fine, depends how accurate you want it, more if youd like it more precise, less if your just looking for a rough gauge
