Default Hud not displaying correctly when changing seats (Pokerstars)

When I change seats in a 6-max table the HUD does not display the stats next to the corresponding players but randomly.

How to fix this? Sometimes the HUD shows the stats in the wrong places before changing seats.

Setup the seating preferences for PokerStars: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...eferredSeating

I set the seating preferences for Pokerstars but still it shows the statistics all scrambled. If I change the seat number it does not always update the positions of the statistics. Other times my statistics are in the right place but the other player's are mixed.

I am using the latest 1.11.06-e1.

    1) Close HM and the Table Manager.
    2) Delete your existing position files, so HM will rebuild them to default.
    3) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\pospref2txt and pospref4.txt.
    4) Start HM< Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and open 1 cash table.
    5) Use Ctrl Right-Click Drag to move the panels Move the main/first panel for each player first. This is the panel with the Note Icon (asterisk).
    6) Once the main panel is in the proper position, you can position any hud sub-panels for each player.
    7) Once they are set, go to Table Manager > File > Save Positions.
    8) Close that table, open a new one, and sit to play.

    Thanks for the instructions.
The first time, you suggested I use the Seating Preferences option to set up the HUD display. This means that that option is not working properly and I should always use the method is suggested here? Should I use this procedure for other tables: heads up and 4-max?

I had to repeat the process once because for some reason, while moving the stats panels the Table Manager closed and I couldn't find an option to reopen it: I tried to stop the auto-import but it didn't work, so I had to restart HEM.

It would also be nice if HEM had a "check for update" option so users know they have an update available.

    Thanks.

You only have to delete the pospref2txt and pospref4.txt files once.
(if you delete them and restart HoldemManager, they will be re-created with the default positions)

Also setup the seating preferences for PokerStars.

What do you mean with change seats?
Your seat position on PokerStars is always the same if you've setup the seating preferences.

When you play four tables.... seat in the same seat position on each table.
Don't move your seat so you're on a different position at each table.

I looked at this figure here http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...or+Poker+Stars

If I set the seating preferences on a 6-max table to, say, seat number 4, whenever I open a table I would expect to be on that position according to the figure but in fact it seats me in a random place.

I see it takes a while for the hud to display the stats. Then I have to manually move to seat number 4. But the stats are already in place.

In PokerStars click in the lobby on--> options--> preferred seat--> pick a seat for 6/9 and 10 handed situations

And PokerStars should always seat you in the same seat position.
