Syntax error when trying to create first database

When I try to create my first database I get "ERROR:42601: syntax error at or near 'User'"

I didn't use 'postgres' username when installing postgresql because I kept getting an error so I made a different one and that's the one I'm using to connect to database.

Try uninstalling PostgreSQL and reinstalling it

i am sorry but i reinstalled it and i get exactly the same message of error when i try to create the first database. I have been spending my entire morning trying to install this software, it really drives crazy.
