HEM expired after 2 months @ NYE

I bought HEM around October-November (can't quite recall), but once the new year started (exactly @ 12 am , January 1st, 2009) my version relapsed back into the trial version (asking me if I wanted to start my 15 day trial, etc.), and would not open as the professional (validated version). I spoke with several of my poker-playing friends who also use HEM, and they said they did not experience this problem, and that I should ask in the forums about what I should do. So here I am.
