HEM/Hud not working at Playnow.com

I'm using Windows 7 with Shaw Secure (it's F-Secure via my cable provider).

That is most likely the problem.

You can try to add exceptions to it, but I have never been able to get F-Secure to work well with HM1 - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...%28Firewall%29


If you continue to have problems, try the following -

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with holdem manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer

4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...ender+Problems

Thanks for the help. I'll try this out. The weird thing is I use F-secure on all my pc's and I've only had a problem with Boss Media. Stars and Full Tilt (when it was around) work just fine.

Edit: Tried turning off F-secure by following the instructions in the FAQ, still no dice. :-( HEM just doesn't want to work on Playnow for me.
