    • actual Version is 3.1.36.0
    • at program start appears request for update
    • click install
    • a file HM-3.1.37.0-msi is downloaded
    • while update, program is asking for file HM-3.1.36.0-msi 6 ??
    • file HM-3.1.37.0-msi will not be accepted
    • Message: old installation could not be removed
    • Message: contact support
    • abort installion process

We use Microsoft *.msi install/update files. *To update to a new version (or roll back to an older version) you also need the msi file for the currently installed version in the same downloads folder on your computer.

Here is the previous stable version - https://www.holdemmanager.com/downlo...rsion=3.1.36.0

    - If you are still having issues trying to reinstall HM3 even after downloading the proper file versions you can use this tool to uninstall it then reinstall using the latest link from our site or forums - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...led-or-removed

    ---www.holdemmanager.com/download/index.php?product=HM3&channel=Stable&version=3.1.3 6.0---

    Thanks for fast response.

When I click the link, it was blocked by Kaspersky, because of redirect to strange URL:

    [removed urll]

I also tried to enter the URL from your post directly, but it did not dowload the file as desireed.

    What can I do?

The problem is Kaspersky giving false positives, not the link. It downloads fine for me as you can see in the image below.

Unfortunately, many free 'internet security' suites such as Norton, McAfee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, and others may not be compatible with Holdem Manager. Please follow these steps to configure your computer to an optimal state for Holdem Manager compatibility:

    a) Uninstall Kaspersky.
    b) Reboot your computer
    c) Please reinstall HM3 (no need to uninstall it) to be sure your antivirus didn't prevent some of the HM3 files from being installed previously. Here is a direct link to the installer file - https://www.holdemmanager.com/downlo...rsion=3.1.36.0
    d) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn on Windows Defender if it is turned off - https://kb.holdemmanager.com/knowled...-configuration

If you continue to have problems:

    - Close your poker clients, close HM3, and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray.
    - Uninstall HM3 with this file - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...led-or-removed
    - Download and install the latest stable version of HM3 from this link - https://www.holdemmanager.com/downlo...channel=stable

Note: This uninstall process will not affect your database, HUDS, or other custom user settings.

    If none of that helps:

Please reproduce and screenshot the error then collect, zip, and attach your \Desktop\HM3logs files, along with the screenshots and details of what steps preceded the error to a support ticket - https://support.holdemmanager.com/su...les-to-support

    Default [SOLVED] Problem update

I don`t know why, but my previous response is not shown in this thread, so I try again to report the success.

Thanks again for the fast and proffessional support.

The download of the previous version (HM3 3.1.36) worked after temporary deactivating the Web-Anti-Virus in Kaspersky. After that, also the Update to the newest version (HM3 3.1.37) runs without problem.

Is the installed version (*.msi file) always neccessary for an update to another version?

    Thanks,
    Claus

Yes, just keep it in your downloads folder.
