Hi, I have a new hard drive installed on pc and I would like to move the entire hem3 from the first to the second. Everything, hem3, database, HUD, notes... Can you advise me how to do it? I have win 10. Martin

You don't 'move' the same installation from PC1 to PC2. You install HM3 on the new PC2, backup the database and settings on PC1, transfer the backup file to PC2, then restore it to the new installation on PC2.

To transfer the HM3 database and settings from one PC to another:

    - Please create an HM3 backup via the Tools - 'Backup Database...' menu.
    - Transfer that file to your new PC via removable media/storage such as a USB flash drive.
    - Restore it via the Tools - 'Restore Database...' menu.
    - See this guide for more detailed instructions - https://kb.holdemmanager.com/knowled...ckup-databasee

p.s. If you also want to manually backup the original database/settings files and archived hand history files:

    - Individual HUD Profiles can be exported from the HUD - HUD Editor - Options button menu - https://kb.holdemmanager.com/knowled...itor#2-options
    - All original hands auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. By default, your \HM3Archive is in C:\HM3Archive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Network\Month\DayOfMonth (example: C:\HM3Archive\SiteName\HM3Archive\2016\07\31). *It is configured in the Tools - Settings - Import menu.
    - You can also export your player notes and hands from the HM3 - 'Tools' menu.
    - Your actual uncompressed HM3 databases are stored in C:\Users\{UserName}\Documents\Holdem Manager 3\Databases\.*
    - Your personalized HM3 settings/files are stored in C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software\Holdem Manager\3.0\.*
    - If you can't see those folders/files, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...0-1166d1d9f4b5

No. You can not 'move' the program from one disc to another, it would have to be uninstalled then reinstalled.

The HM3 the program takes very little space itself. It is the databases and the HM3 archive that takes the most space. The archives and databases can be moved if free space is an issue on the current drive.

If you move the C:\HM3Archive to D:\HM3Archive you will need to reconfigure it in the HM3 - Tools - Settings - 'Import' menu. If you move the MyHM3Database.hmdb file from one drive to another you will just have to double-click it to open it from the new location for HM3 to recognize the new database location. The notes are part of the database file so they will move with the database.

The HUDs are stored in your 'C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software\Holdem Manager\3.0\ folder and will not be affected by the moving of the archive or databases. They will also not be affected if you even were to uninstall/reinstall the HM3 software, but can be backed up independently before the reinstall process if you want to be extra sure/safe.
