Default issue with database transfers and stat output

    Hello,
When synchronizing the HM3 database from the cloud, not all hands were downloaded. In the middle of the synchronization process, it gives an error, although everything seemed to have been downloaded to the cloud from the old computer. Moreover, when playing in zoom, the HUD shows the maximum number of hands I have played according to the existing database. Previously, in each new session, the HUD showed the number of my hands for the session and the stats were displayed accordingly.

How to completely transfer/synchronize the hand database from the old computer to the new one?

How exactly are you attempting to sync from the cloud? HM3 has no such feature built in like HM2 had.

The only way to sync multiple HM3 installations currently is manually. You would need to keep your \HM3Archive folder on both machines synced via dropbox (or a similar cloud hosting service), and manually import recent hands to each computer as we suggest here - https://kb.holdemmanager.com/knowled...sing-the-cloud

You can use the Tools - Backup/Restore Database menu option for the initial transfer of the database but after that, you will have to import hands/notes to keep them in sync manually.

Please do not create your HM3 Database in a sub-folder of the \Program Files (x86)\Holdem Manager 3\ installation folder, or any cloud file hosting service (Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, etc) as it can cause database corruptions because it will constantly be syncing the database to the cloud while you are playing/importing. You can configure HM3 to archive any auto-imported hand history files to a cloud file hosting service folder if you choose to as that will not affect the SQLite database in any way, and you can obviously store any HM3 database backup files you create in a cloud folder instead of the default path HM3 suggests when backing up databases.

As far as I know, the HM3 HUD will always show your lifetime Zoom HUD stats when playing the same stakes as we cannot identify Entry #1, #2, etc as unique tables.

HMT-4847 - Zoom HUD: Recent Winners list (and Hero HUD) combines hands from multiple entries to the same pool

This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. If you want to be notified if/when it is fixed, please send an email via the 'Contact Support' link and include "Notify Me When HMT-4847 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

Based on the developer ticket and related tickets, implementing this would necessitate significant modifications to the database structure. Consequently, the task was 'shelved,' and currently, there is no projected timeline for its potential inclusion in HM3.
