GGPoker tournament names

Hi there,

I can't see the name of (GGpoker) tournaments in the software. This would be incredibly helpful. As the tournament names are contained in the file names, I wonder why you don't seem to import them?

Hi there,

First a short question: Why are the names of (GGPoker dont know for others) tournaments are not imported? They are right there in the filename and inside of the file and would make working with the data so much easier.

Now all the other stuff:

- Tournaments having a bounty in the result when editing them, but "Bounty game" always lists 0$. For all tourneys. But there are plenty of bounty tourneys in there where I won bounties and also did not win bounties.
- Description says MTT (8 max) but STT/MTT coloumn say "STT". That coloumn seems to be totally random.

Seeing all this, combined with the issue in my other thread (ggraph not changing after deleting a MTT) I totally regret that I spent the money to buy the program. These are the obvious things even I can see but it makes me think what else might be wrong? Is it even producing data I should work with?

- Close your poker clients, close HM3, and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray.
- Please update to our latest beta version of HM3 from this link.
- Restart HM3

For any tournament with more than one table (and some single-table games), a separate Tournament Summary/History file needs to be imported into HM3 after the hands have been imported. This is essential for HM3 to accurately calculate the size, places, and prizes. Currently, only Pokerstars, Full Tilt, Winamax, WPN, Pacific, Run It Once Poker, and GGPoker generate these summary files that HM3 supports. If your poker site does not generate these summaries or if you notice any discrepancies in the STT/SNG results, you will need to manually edit the results by going to Reports > Tournament > Tournaments > right-click > edit > Tournament Editor.

GG Poker skins allow you to download the hands later from the 'PokerCraft' menu in their software then you can manually import those hand history and tournament summary files to HM3 via the HM3 - File - Import Files/Folder options. You want to download and import the Hand History (HH) files first, then you can import the Tournament Summary (TS) files from the same tournaments/dates so that HM3 can detect the final finish/results for the hands you imported for that tournament.


Please try all the steps in this FAQ.

If you continue to have problems, please zip and email the problem original hand histories and tournament summaries to us as instructed with a link to this thread and your forum name. Ensure you also include screenshots of your reports/filters and a detailed description by tournament number, session, hole cards, filter, stat, etc. of some of the errors we need to test.

If you are having issues with the tournament results/detection you need to send us the same downloaded hands/summaries so that I can forward them to our QA/Testing team for review.

Please zip and email the original problem hand histories and tournament summaries to us as instructed at the bottom of this FAQ with a link to this thread and your forum name. Ensure you also include screenshots of your reports/filters and a detailed description by tournament number, session, hole cards, filter, stat, etc. of some of the errors we need to test.

Getting support here is really no fun. Why can't anybody answer my question if names SHOULD be imported first? I think the aren't. Then my question is Why? and you dont need any hands for that topic.

For the other questions I will send in examples.

I'm not sure if it should or not, as I don't play there and I haven't seen any open developer tickets related to this issue in our system. If you want an answer to your question, I'll have to ask our QA/Testing Manager. However, the first thing he will ask for is a sample of the actual hand history files that he can review in a text editor, import to HM3, and examine the HM3 parsing logs.

Sorry but I had the expectation that you guys know which features your software offers and which not.

I also thought that you have tons of sample histories from different poker sites because I can't imagine how to create such a software otherwise. I am not requesting anything specific to my situation, it is a very general question. The torunament name is included in each GGpoker history in the file and the filename and Holdem Manager does not seem to have a field for the tournament name at all.

But yeah if it is really necessary to send you files I will do so later today...

I've checked our developer bug ticket system and found nothing relevant to this issue. Despite trying various keyword combinations related to GGPoker, Tournaments, Name, and more, I couldn't locate any related entries. Additionally, we don't possess 'ample sample histories from various poker sites.' The only hands available for testing are those we've played ourselves or those submitted by customers.
