Default Can't Find GGPoker Hands in my DB but I can see if I create a new DB

    Hi,

I would like to import GGPoker hands into my usual DB but I can't find the Hero, hands neither the room is displayed in settings. I can see that the hands are imported but I can't find them. I created a new DB and then they show up with no problem.

How can I import those hands and add that Hero to my alias in my usual DB?

    Thank you!!!

You must 'force reimport' the hands if importing them to the same database. Toggle on the HM3 - Tools - Settings - Import - [x] 'Allow reimport of hand histories' then import the files again using the HM3 - File - Import Folder/Files options. See the linked images below:

I tried but the result was the same. I know that the hands are there because I can delete them, as the printscreen in attachment. I also sent my import settings. There anything that I can do to solve this issue? I work in a poker team and I have several mates with the same problem.

Thank you. Even if you can't help this time, you're doing an amazing job, always here to answer and try to help. I'm new here but it's great to have that type of help, thanks for the support!

    1. If the hands import fine to a new database, but you can't see them if you clear all filters then toggle on the 'allow reimport' setting and reimport them, then your database is likely damaged/corrupted.

This is why it is a good practice to regularly create backups. If your database gets corrupted or if you encounter any hardware issues, you can restore a backup and import only the latest hands that were played after the backup was created. You can then edit any tournament results played after the backup was created if necessary. I suggest keeping at least the most recent 2 or 3 backups so that if the latest backup does not restore properly, you can try restoring the previous backup.

    - You can make a backup of the active database and settings at any time by using the Tools - 'Backup Database...' menu then restore it using the Tools - 'Restore Database...' option.
    - Individual HUD Profiles can also be exported from the HUD - HUD Editor - Options button menu - https://kb.holdemmanager.com/knowled...itor#2-options
    - All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM3Archive is in C:\HM3Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Network\Month\DayOfMonth (example: C:\HM3Archive\SiteName\HM3Archive\2016\07\31). *It is configured in the Tools - Settings - Import menu.

If you also want to manually backup the database/settings files:*
    - Your actual uncompressed HM3 databases are stored in C:\Users\{UserName}\Documents\Holdem Manager 3\Databases\.*
    - Your personalized HM3 settings/files are stored in C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software\Holdem Manager\3.0\.*
    - If you can't see it, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory.

    2. Which Operating System, Firewall, and AntiVirus are you using?

Many of those free Norton, McAfee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager. Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

    a) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
    b) Reboot your computer
    c) Please reinstall/repair HM3 (no need to uninstall it) to be sure your antivirus didn't prevent some of the HM3 files from being installed previously.
    * Here is a direct link to the installer file - https://www.holdemmanager.com/downlo...channel=stable
    d) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn on Windows Defender if it is turned off - https://kb.holdemmanager.com/knowled...-configuration

    3. Please try steps 3 and 4 in this FAQ.

    4. If none of that helps please zip and attach the original problem hand history and tournament summary files to a new support ticket as instructed at the bottom of that FAQ in step 3.
