I've had HM3 for a couple of years now and have always kept it up and running in the background. Never a problem. But recently, once I log back into my machine HM3 freezes up and I have to kill it via Task Manager and restart. What's changed?

If you are saying that HM3 freezes or hangs after your PC goes into Sleep or Hibernation mode, it is a known issue:
HMT-6765: Menus not reenabled when computer returns from sleep
This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email via the 'Contact Support' link and include "Notify Me When HMT-6765" in the subject line and body of the email.
If that is not the problem you are describing:
Please create a support ticket via the 'Contact Support' link with a link to this thread and your forum username. Please reproduce the problem and attach a set of log files and a screenshot and detailed description of the issue in the support ticket you created.
