Default About limit of Ordered Badges in HUD

    Hello.

I recently purchased the HM3 and imported my HM2 HUD but i noticed that the "Ordered badge" stat doesnt exist in the HM3`s NC version. There are Ordered badge 1, 2, 3... up to Ordered badge 20 instead.

The problem i have now is that i do use more than 20 static badges in my HUD.

Is there a way to expand the max. amount of ordered badge stats, create manually the #21+ or anything else to add some more to the HUD?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

As you already understood, in HM3 the NC.orderedbadge comes with a number after. This is to make sure that the badges are not duplicated.

In order to better arrange them and even use more than 20 badges maybe using the NC.PrefixedBadges instead. This allows you to divide them into street by street badges and place them exactly where you want them to show.

Using the NC.orderedbadges it will use the top 20 badges only if more than 20 are selected.

From the bottom of this page: https://support.holdemmanager.com/su...adges-Overview

NC.OrderedBadges will display badges on the HUD according to 'Priority' that is set in their Note/Color Definition. Badges with a higher 'Priority' number will appear before a lower 'Priority' number (2 appears ahead of 1).

NC.PrefixedBadges take into account the 'Prefix' which is given to the Note/Color Definition. For instance, if we give all pre-flop badges the 'Prefix' "PRE", then we will have an option to use NC.PrefixedBadge.PRE1, NC.PrefixedBadge.PRE2, etc. This can be useful to make sure certain badges get placed exactly where you prefer them.

I hope this answer your question. Let us know if any other doubts come by.

    Best wishes,

    Hello again.

I got to add all the badges i use to the HUD using the prefix method you mentioned but the NC definitions are not being shown as stats.

Definitions show their average values in the NCīs list as usual but they just wont appear in the HUD and show 0/0 as value.

I tried what you suggested in the other thread "Try reset and recreate notes once again. After it finishes processing notes, restart HM." but it didnt work.

    I have HM3 v3.1.31.0 and NC v2.9.9046.0

    Hello,

I might not be understanding completely what type of badges you are currently using.

If they are triggered when a stat reaches a certain value. Or just having an image/badge on the HUD all time with the stat associated when we hover over and the notation when clicked on.

Usually the definitions packs we support use the 1st option.

    A couple of questions:

    - When using the NC.orderedbadge option, does it show stats?
    - Understood that when you hover over the badge it shows 0/0 in the stats. What happens when you click the badge?

In order to better understand what you want to take away from the badges and be abloe to try and replicate the issue, please open a support ticket and attach to it a few badges/definitions. A few badges/definitions of preflop actions to test the prefix method with your definitions. Since they are a HM2 import maybe something needs to be edited, as in the NC.orderedbadge case.

The NCE packs use the NC.orderedbadge method and hardly ever there is a villain that triggeres more than 20 badges, along with the organization of prioritys they have it shows them organized by street. If that starts to be the casa we can even up the threshold of the badges to spark so it produces less badges but only the more profitable ones.

There are several different ways to use badges.

    Hello.

Since Pokerstars doesnt allow the use of triggered badges, i use badges in my HUD just as reference to remember what the stat values next to them are. So no, badges are not triggered but static.

Example: [Badge image]/[Fold to 3b stat]/[4bet stat]/[Fold to 5b stat]. This way i can easily see the HUD and spot the stats related to how the player reacts against a 3bet to his/her raise.

Assigning prefixes solved the 20 badges cap problem, but the stats not working are the ones that should be shown in numerical values.

In the example above, the "[Fold to 3b stat]/[4bet stat]/[Fold to 5b stat]" values stay as "-" or "<" when assigning minimum a of opportunities, and showing 0/0 as value.

The stats i mention are not HM stats but NC composite definitions made to switch to vs hero values when reaching a minimum of vs hero opportunities.

    Hi,

I understand they work as the abreviations one might use or not in a HUD (as CB, 3b, VPIP etc).

But if that is the case, then the stats are not coming from the badge but from either a HM stat or a NC definition stat.

If those three 3bet/4bet/5bet are not showing a result stat in the HUD, it is on those we need to focus. The badges and prefixes should not have anything to do with it anymore.

In HUD editor try removing the 3 stats and pick them again from the list to update the "link" between them. In HM2/NC, HM stats had a slightly different naming, this could be triggering the issue if the definitions or stats being used are from an imported HM2 HUD.

IF that does not work. Check what kind of stat is being used in the HUD for those stats ( HM or NC ). If NC stat, reinstall the corresponding package from the "Manage My ultimate packs" option to update the definitions. If HM stat it is really weird it does not show a stat. W will have to dig deeper to understand.

I believe removing and replacing the stats will fix the issue, but let me know how it goes please.

    Hi again.

Yes the badges are used as abreviations or reference and assigning prefixes solved the 20 max. limit issue.

The problem are the stats which are NC definitions. Most of them are composite definitions that switch to vs hero values.

The definitions do show their average values in the NCīs definitions list as always.

I tried reimporting the HUD and processing the hands again as you recommend, and i even tried creating a HUD from zero to check if being a HM2 imported HUD was the problem, but the issue persists.

    Hi,

I think I will have to test a few of those definitions to be able to tell you more. Please open a suppor tticket and attach there a few of the definitions that are not working.

    A couple of questions:

    - Is it just these 3 stats not working or the whole stats in the HUD in general?
    - Does the behaviour change when in replayer compared to a pokerstars table? That kind of composite definition should work on stars. Since the notes are being written, checking if by chance NC is not blocking them in live play.

Please open that ticket and attach to it a few of the not working definitions as well as the HUD you are currently using and if possible a screenshot showing the issue. I will have to try and replicate this issue. Most of the times when this happens on a package it is enough to reset the notes and restart HM at the end of processign hands.

    Hi.

No it is not only those but all the NC stats and i have been testing in the HM replayer.

I have noticed that somehow some stats do show data with a few opportunities on some players. I am not sure, but i think those opportunities counted and shown are vs hero opportunities but i have no clue why it would be ignoring the overall cases.

I tested the NC composite definitions with players not showing data in HUD and they showed values normally in the test while showing 0/0 in the HUD.

I will create a HUD for you with a portion of mine and attach the corresponding stats so you can import them and test it yourself.

    Hi again.

I got a problem when attaching the definitions to the support ticket.

It seems that im not allowed to attach .n2d files.

Any idea of how to make them get to you?
