An account already exists error during upgrade

    Default An account already exists error during upgrade

    I've been getting this error for years when upgrading. It has something to do with editing the registry and I can't remember which keys to edit. I also believe it's Windows related because when you search for this in Google you find non-HEM instances as well.

    How do we fix this? This is an issue going back for over a decade now.

    - Close your poker clients, close HM3, and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray.
    - Uninstall HM3 with this file -
    - Download and install the latest stable version of HM3 from this link -

    Note: This uninstall process will not affect your database, HUDS, or other custom user settings.
