SSD NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen3 vs Gen4 Speed Performance Differences for HUD and overall HM3

Hello,

I am currently building a new PC and I did read that the most important factor for speed performance is the HDD/SSD speed. With my current HDD my HUD is refreshing in ZOOM games sooo slowly and I wish the HUD to refresh instantly if possible whenever I meet new opponents.
I will definitely get a single 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD for my whole system, but I wonder how or even if there is a difference between PCIe Gen 3 and Gen 4 in how quickly the HUD will refresh and overall HM3 performance.

I will probably get a motherboard which can handle PCIe Gen 4 and either a Ryzen 7 5700X, 9 5900X or 5950X + 32GB RAM. PCIe Gen 4 SSD's is just so much more expensive where I live.

I don't have any experience or knowledge about any differences in performance with respect to HM3 HUD/Import personally. I personally would just suggest you get the biggest and best performing (or latest gen) that you can afford to make sure you have as much free space and performance as possible for you.

For reference, my current daily driver for work is an MSI Gaming Laptop with an i7-9750H, 32 GB RAM, and a Toshiba KBG30ZMV512G SSD. It has served me well over the past 3 years and I have no plans/need to upgrade it any time soon unless it decides to turn itself into a brick.
