The old hands (previous desktop), were never in this database. So I guess I don't have to toggle on "allow reimport handhistories" ?

And what about the player notes, how do I get them from my old database on the flashdrive into my existing database?

    Thanks in advance !
Restore the database then import the archived hands to make sure you have all your hands (and player notes) in the database. Player notes are part of the database that you backed up and need to restore. There is an option to export/import player notes in the Tools menu but it doesn't sound like you backed those up separately before.

But than I guess, I only restore my old database without getting my hands from the old restored database into the another existing one? And if I do what you tell me to do, do I have to restore the old database directly from the usb flashdrive or do I first have to transfer the old .hmdb file to the harddrive on my new desktop and than restore it? (Same for the old archived hands on usb flashdrive?) And which archived hands ( the old on the flashdrive or the new on my harddrive fom the existing database) should I import into which database ( the restored or the existing one)? Sorry, but I'm totally not familiar with HM3. I just want to make one database from the old database backed up on the flasdrive and the database I allready use on my new desktop.

You can create a new empty database, then restore the database from the flash drive, then import the archived hands from the flash drive and finally import the newer archived hands from the computer and you will have all your hands in a single database.

Thank you Fozzy for the clear answer. If I do that, do I also have the notes from the newer archived hands imported from the computer in that single database?

And if I don't want to have/care about the notes from the old database on the flashdrive, can't I just simply only import the archived hands from the flashdrive into the database on my computer to have all my hands in that database and achieve the same?

Open the newer database and use the Tools - Export Player Notes... option so they can be imported to the newer database you create.

Correct. If you don't want any of the old or new player notes in the new database just create a new database and import all your hands from the various archive folders.

I directly imported the old archive folder from the old database on the flashdrive into my allready existing database on the computer I allready use.

The only thing I'm missing now are the notes from the old database on the usb flasdrive ( I was prepared for that !).But I forgot to tell you, I also backed up manually on the usb flashdrive the 3.0 folder from the old database. Is there somehow a way to also (manually) import/restore the notes from the old backedup 3.0 folder into my allready existing database on the computer I allready use or aren't the notes in there and isn't that possible?

Notes are part of the database *.hmdb file which is in your \Documents\Holdem Manager 3\Databases\ folder, they are not stored in a file in the \3.0 folder you are referring to. If you did a HM3 - Tools - 'Export Player Notes...' from the other PC those can be restored to the new database via the Tools menu. If you already restored a *.hmdbbackup file of your previous database the notes should have been restored with the database.

I copied/paste manually the old database.hmdb file (which is larger) of the previous database, to the flashdrive. I didn't make a .hmdbbackup file (which is smaller) using the tools ' back up database ' in the HM3 software on the previous computer. Can I only use the tools ' restore database ' for a backedup database made by using the tools ' back up database ' or can I also use the tools 'restore database ' for a manually copied/paste database .hmdb file, which wasn't made by the tools ' back up database '?

And: Can I copy/paste the manually made .hmdb file of the previous database, from the usb flashdrive to my harddrive on the new computer and then ' open database ' in HM3 software and point to that file to restore it that way, without first creating a new database and without using the tools ' restore database ' in the HM3 software?

    Thanks in Advance !
