    Default NC settings

    Hello!

I read before in this forum that thread settings should be on max when resetting notes, but use 1 thread when playing. Is that for all CPUs? I was using that with my i5 but I have now bought a i9 cpu and wonder if I should run max threads when im playing?

    Regards pyton

    Hi pyton,

I think it shouldn't matter much if you have set it to max threads while you're playing. If you do this and you start to notice that your CPU is maxing out often, then go ahead and turn it down. I normally put the thread count at about 75% while processing notes, and about 25% while playing, but honestly I think it would be fine any way that I put it.
