    Default Notecaddy Licenses

    I had to renistall HM and after doing so notecaddy isnt being installed. I click add HM3 apps then i get invited to pay. Does this mean my license has expired? Does anyone know what the difference is between notecaddy free version and the paid version? I cant find this out on the website.

    Reluctantly i handed over my money despite the fact i have purchased this program previously for USD 100 and it is currently in a state of disaray, I have previously purchased expensive packages so don't have much of an option if i wish to continue using. As soon as i open my HM3 i get an error saying Notecaddy is unable to acquire a remote resource. Please make sure your firewall isn't blocking the url: https://www.assaultware.com/authupdate.asmx

    please advise what i should do

    This is BS man. I prevoiusly purchased many expensive packages (3rd party I know, but sponsored by the official hm site nonetheless), many of them aren't up to date and don't work well with hm3's notecaddy - which by itself doesn't work very well at all, yet - and now you're charging extra money despite the fact that when we first bought NC it was supposed to be a lifetime license.
    Of course I feel committed to buy it because of all the money spent on packages, popups etc. Good job.

    You are still able to use the NoteCaddy for HM2 that you purchased for lifetime, unless it has broken functionality because of sites changing things around..

    NoteCaddy is an add-on and the developers have to get paid somehow to keep developing it and making it work for HM3, so I can understand why they are not giving it free forever for HM3. They've put in a ton of work to get it to function for HM3, which is completely different than HM2.

    Hi MartinBKK,

    It could be that your antivirus/firewall is inhibiting something that is required for HM3/NC to function properly.**Here's a link that shows how to add a folder to your exclusion list in windows 10:**https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...ndows-security.

    Please add the folders below into your exclusion list:
    C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Holdem Manager 3

    If you use a different antivirus/firewall than windows defender please add the folder exceptions listed above into them.

    ​After doing this, please restart your PC and see if you still have the issue.**
