    I'm afraid this doesn't work and I still get the noteceddy is loading dialog. I also have to manually close HEM in the task manager, as before. Are there any significant benefits to updating notecaddy from the version on the HEM website downloader? I could just not update and it will work.

    I just reset my PC as it had nothing on it and I had a feeling me messing around with settings could have been causing the problems. Unfortunately the notecaddy update does still seem to be the problem and it just never gets past the "notecaddy is loading" window. Please let me know what I should do.

    That's odd, can you please create a ticket and send your log files?

    Please create a support ticket here: https://support.holdemmanager.com/support/ticket/94

    Begin by restarting HM2 (so that logs are fresh) and then please follow these steps:
    1. Reproduce what you were doing when the issue occurred. *When the issue occurs proceed with the next step.
    2. Navigate to:*C:\Users\[WindowsUsername]\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\
    3. Make a copy of the NoteCaddyLogs folder and .zip it, and send it over.
    4. If the file is too big to send, please upload it to to a cloud service like OneDrive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer.com, and share a link.

    Please share a link to this thread in the ticket.

    In the meantime, you can just stay with your current version, until we can diagnose the issue via the log files.

    I have just decided to reset my computer again and not update either HEM or NC as they work fine without. They are both established products so a lack of updates shouldn't be too much of an issue.
