NoteCaddy, how to return appearance to default?

    Default NoteCaddy, how to return appearance to default?

    Hello,
    I clicked File=>Restore default layout and NC start looks like this
    How to get it back to its original appearance?
    Also create notes options has gone somewhere.

    Hi mishkanaservere,

    Please try closing HM2/HM3. There are some .xml files that you can delete which will restore the default layout.

    Any .xml file with the word 'Layout' in it can be deleted.

    For HM3 they are located here:
    C:\Users\[windows username]\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software\Holdem Manager\3.0\AppsData\NoteCaddy

    For HM2 they are located here:
    C:\Users\[windows username]\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager

    Once you restart HM2/HM3 and go back into NoteCaddy after deleting the 'Layout' xml files you should be back to the normal default layout.

    I have another question.
    When I start create new notes,process of creating never stops.

    I'm glad that fixed the layout issue.

    You may want to try creating a new database. Import some of your hands into it from your archive folder, and then process your notes and see if it stops when it's finished. If it does stop correctly, then go ahead and import any more hands into the database that you want and continue to use this new database.

    If that doesn't help, then please try to fully reset your NC settings. The process is the same as resetting your layout, except you can delete all of the .xml files, except keep your colordefinitions.xml if you use color definitions.
