PokerStars writes hands to *.txt file. If those came via email you have to copy/paste them into a *.txt document using a text editor such as MS NotePad or third party text editors such as Sublime Text Editor or NotePad++. If they were sent as *.txt files simply import the original *.txt files.

For older hands email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories in *.txt format. They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click - Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder and then manually import those files via the HM3 - File - Import Folder/Files options. You may see import errors as some of these hands are probably already imported.

    You are very welcome.

What setting did you have to change? You had to toggle on the 'Allow reimport...' setting?
