Updated HEM after 1-2 years, trouble creating new database.

I updated HEM to the newest version after running an older one for 1-2 years. My old hands are not visible anymore, which I can live with, but I can't create a new database either. I get an error message: ERROR: 42601: syntax error at or near "DATA"

This could be a corrupt PostgreSQL installation, or because you are using an unsupported version of PostgreSQL. We will need to see your log files.
