You need to keep the *.msi file for your installed version of HM3 to be able to update it, or uninstall it, in the future. Please make sure you always keep that most recent *.msi file in your downloads folder if you regularly empty that folder.
- Close your poker clients, close HM3 and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray.
- Download the latest stable version of HM3 from this link - https://www.holdemmanager.com/downlo...3&channel=Beta
- Download the previously installed version shown in that attached image from this link - https://www.holdemmanager.com/downlo...ersion=3.1.9.0
- Once you have both files downloaded you can install the 3.1.12.6336.msi file.
This is because we use Microsoft *.msi install/update files. To update to a new version you also need the msi file for the currently installed version in the same downloads folder on your computer.
- Here is the previous beta - https://www.holdemmanager.com/downlo...on=3.1.11.6172
- And the previous stable - https://www.holdemmanager.com/downlo...rsion=3.1.11.0
Note: If you are prompted for a different beta (4 digits at the end of 'Alpha&version' file/link name) or a different stable (single 0 at the end of 'Stable&version' file/link name) simply copy/paste the link to a new browser tab then edit the link to match the error shown before you hit the Enter key.
- If you are having issues trying to uninstall HM3 even after downloading the proper file versions you can use this tool to uninstall it then reinstall using the latest link from our site or forums - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...led-or-removed
- If you are unable to download the file from that page you can also download it from this link on our servers here - https://www.holdemmanager.com/Downlo...stall.meta.zip
This file is deleted by windows automatically claiming it's a virus - - Download the previously installed version shown in that attached image from this link - https://www.holdemmanager.com/downlo...ersion=3.1.9.0
Has HM3 or this file been compromised, can you check the file download and confirm it's safe and if it is why is Windows flagging it as a virus?
Thanks!
You need to report it as a false positive to your antivirus vendor so it won't affect other HM3 users with the same antivirus in the future, then remove the file from quarantine and/or reinstall the software and make sure to exclude HM3 from scanning by by your AntiVirus.
a) Open your Windows Defender (or chosen AntiVirus program) > History tab:
1) Select the files if they are from holdemmanager with that checkbox on the left side, then in the bottom right of the window click 'Allow Item'.
2) Start HM3.
b) If you continue to have problems:
- Export any custom HUD profiles from the HUD - HUD Editor using the 'Options' button.
- Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
- Reboot your computer
- Please try to uninstall HM3 from your Control Panel - Programs and Features menu.
- Delete C:\Program Files (x86)\Holdem Manager 3\ if you see it.
- Download and install HM3 again from this link - https://www.holdemmanager.com/downlo...channel=stable
- Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender (unless you are using Windows 10, in which case it should be enabled).
- Install Microsoft Security Essentials (unless you are using Windows 10) for antivirus/malware protection and update it - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14210
Please let us know if that does or does not solve your issues.

You can uninstall your current version of HM3 and install/update to the latest version as instructed below. This will not affect your database, settings or archived hands.
If you have any problems installing HM3 because of your installed version this is because we use Microsoft *.msi install/update files. To update to a new version you also need the msi file for the currently installed version in the same downloads folder on your computer.
- Close your poker clients, close HM3 and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray.
- Uninstall HM3 with this file.
- Download and install the latest version of HM3 from this link.
