Default Allin adjusted diff = 0

I just realized that around 10% of all my hands where I went all-in before the River incorrectly show the All-in Adj Diff stat with a value of 0. It happens everyday, a small amount of hands are not correctly showing the stat.

I'm attaching a set of hands as an example.

HM3 uses the same equity code as PT4 now which is more accurate and less biased than the code we used for equity in HM2.

In a hand where a player is all-in but other players are not, net adjusted results are not calculated. When one player is all-in preflop and other players are not, then they usually have the option to act postflop and this means that sometimes one of them will fold. Having the option to fold* after another street is dealt means that in the long run there will be more strong hands which get to showdown and less weak hands. If we were to calculate net adjusted results in hands like this it would introduce a systematic bias (because there will be more known strong hands) so we exclude all hands like this from net adjusted calculations. You can read more about this here.

*Note: Attempting to calculate adjusted results when unknown but folded cards already called the all-in also introduce a bias into the results so HM3 does not make these calculations in any situation where a player calls the all-in and later folds (even if it's on the same street).

I imported and filtered all these hands to try and find any hands that should have had All-In Adj Diff calculated but could not.

27 of the 29 hands you attached fit that criteria. i.e. Short stacks get all-in on earlier streets before the final side pot all-in, or someone folds to an all-in.

    Here are a few examples:

    - 4568 folds flop - cb60 bets turn all-in and hero calls

    - 6d7e short stack calls flop all-in check raise - other 2 players AI on turn

    - a017 short stack raise allin flop - other 2 players AI on turn

    - c6f0 raises AI PF and 4b0d folds

    - short stack raises AI preflop with 2 callers - 2 callers AI on flop

The only 2 outliers are these 2:

    - In this hand below there are are only you and one other player all streets but you call a turn all-in drawing dead.

    - In this hand below there are are 3 players all 3 streets but you call a turn all-in drawing dead.

If you have questions about why some of those other 27 hands that I didn't post fall into our new All-In Adj Diff multi-way pot formula just let me know which specific hole cards you want a further explanation on.
