    Default Saw Turn % vs Saw Turn when saw Flop

    Hi,

    Working on popups and and can't figure out why there is a difference in these stats. The definitions of the stats that I have found are:
    * Saw Turn%. Percent of time player sees the turn.
    * Saw Turn When Saw Flop (WSF%). Percentage of hands in which a player who sees the flop reaches the turn.

    In looking at a player (843 hands) in my DB I have the following:

    * Saw Flop: 23% (191/836) (times/opportunities)
    * Saw Turn: 16% (134/836) (times/opportunities)
    * Saw Turn when saw Flop: 60% (96/159) (times/opportunities)

    Can someone wiser than me explain why these numbers aren't the same, because to my simple mind anyone who sees turn have had to seen the flop irregardless how he got to that later street.

    Is "Saw Turn: 16%" of all possible hands went to turn? This makes sense.
    Is "Saw Turn when saw Flop: 60%" that only 60% of the hands that he actually saw flop with he took to Turn? But the math don't add up to me. 191 hands to flop times 60% to turn is 114.6 not 96.??? Or am I just looking at this all wrong?

    Thanks in advance,

    The 2 turn stats in question have

    The expressions for each is:

    - 'Saw Flop' = (Saw Flop)/(Is Hand Playable)
    - 'Saw Turn' = (Saw Turn)/(Is Hand Playable)
    - 'Saw Turn WSF' = (Saw Turn No All In)/(Saw Flop No All In)

    I asked our QA/Testing Manager if he could have the developers try and clarify the 'Description' that you and other users see to make the differences more clear.

    Saw Flop

    Saw Turn

    Saw Turn WSF

    Hi,

    So, I think I get it: "Saw Turn WSF" don't count any AI getting to current street at all, and excludes them from the counter. Whereas the "Saw Turn%" counts any hand played irregardless of action taken up to current street.

    Follow up, how do I see the same info as you do on your screenshots, or is that some developer version. The only thing I see is the actual text that is listed under description nothing else.

    The information you are showing, is there any way I can see that for myself in HM3 or is that a "special" developer version? All I get is just the description of the stats not the detailed stuff you show.

    No, unfortunately you can not see those report stats details as they are part of the developer debug tools. They are only accessible by the developers and us in support/testing. That specific part of the debug tools might be something we could expose to users in the future but they are currently only enabled as part of a number of other debug tools that users should not have access to.
