I just paid for an upgrade a few minutes ago from HM2 to HM3. My order has been completed without a hitch. However, when i open HM3 it can't find a valid license. HELP!!!

This is not something we can handle via the forum.
Please create a support ticket with a link to this thread and your forum username.
What exactly happens? It looks like it was issued properly to your account, so if you log into it, you should have access to HM3.
