    Default minutes played

    hi
is minutes played really the "real amount of minutes" we played on a table?
what if i leave a table and suddenly sit on the same table again does this then count to the same minutes? i am looking for minutes which do not do that:-)

    sorry for my bad english
    thanks a lot

The 'Minutes Played' stat is your actual minutes playing hands for that specific row/report. The value for that stat will depend on which report you are viewing. Your actual time spent playing hands, regardless of the number of tables you were playing at the same time, is going to be found in the 'Sessions' report that combines multi-tabled hands into a single report row.

For example, I exported 4,571 hands from the '4 Tables' row of the HM2 Multi-Tabling Report (which does not yet exist in HM3):

I then imported those exported hands to a new DB in HM2 and HM3 both.

In the HM2/3 'Sessions' report it shows your actual Minutes Played. HM3 has to do some rounding up/down in some instances for technical reasons, hence the 18 minute difference between the two reports.

But if I view those hands in the 'Sessions By Table' reports it is going to show the minutes played for each 'Table Name' independently and total those, giving a much larger number of minutes.

    Hi fozzy
Many thanks for the good explanation and printscreens...
though i am not sure i get ir right:-)

My goal is to see how i am doing when i play only "10 minutes per table"..
is that possible to filter so that its correctly shown ?
for example when i play 5 minutes on table "x" then i leave table "x" and sit into the same exactly table "x" again it doesn't start counting minutes from zero again right? which would not be what i am looking for...i am looking for every time i am leaving a table and joining the same again it should start from zero again

    thanks again

This will not be possible until we implement an option for users to set a custom 'Session Timeout' variable like we had for HM2. In HM3 this is still hard coded to 30 minutes and can not be changed. Once this is implemented you will be able toggle that all the way down to 1 or 2 minutes in our Settings menu and then the 'Sessions By Table' report should be able to show you want you are looking for.

This feature request has been documented in detail and provided to the developers for future consideration. *

HMT-4334: Add Session Timeout config variable

If you want to be notified if/when it is added please send an email via the 'Contact Support' link and include "Notify Me When HMT-4334 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

It should work in theory with HM2 but I am not able to test HM2 to confirm if it will do what you want. You just need to try editing the Session Timeout setting and then use the 'More Reports' - 'Sessions By Table' report.
