Default Adding new Hand Histories to database

    Hi there,

If I was to acquire a bunch of HH's for study purposes would it be wise to add them to my own database or would that unnecessarily slow the performance of my HM2 down for when I am playing or starting the program.

Should I be creating a new database?

    Thanks

We do not provide support for datamined or shared hands.

I'm not sure what you mean? I imported .txt files of other player's hands and HM2 seems to display them just fine?

You mean you don't condone this usage?

We will not do anything to help this. We will not provide support for a database with these hands. We won't answer any questions about the practice. It is against most sites terms and conditions, and can get your account closed and funds frozen.

You should not use those hands in your database when playing or your site may infract you for breaking their rules. If you imported them to a separate 'study' database that you never use when playing live poker (to gain an unfair real time advantage with data from hands you didn't play) you do not run any risk of breaking your a sites rules.

That other database will not have any effect on the performance of your own personal database that you use when playing.
