    Default System requirements for v.2&3.

I am looking at purchasing hm2 or hm3. What are the system requirements for both? Is it better to get 3 now or wait a bit? Can I run the trial version of both on my macbook air? Thanks for the help.

    HM2 is no longer available.

There are no plans for a MAC version of HM2 or HM3 at this time. If you want to use HM2 or HM3 on a MAC you will need to use something like Parallels or BootCamp so you can install Windows for playing poker. If you do not want to use Windows to play poker you could consider trying the MAC version of PT4.

See this FAQ for requirements - https://support.holdemmanager.com/su...m-Manager-3%3F

Ok, thanks for the info. If I do use Parallels or Bootcamp will I also be able to use Notecaddy?

Yes. If you run Parallels or Bootcamp to use Windows on your MAC then HM3 and NC should both work like any other customer using Windows on a PC. There is one thing to be aware of when installing/using HM3 on a MAC:

Holdem Manager 3 requires the \Documents folder to be a local folder and not a shared folder.

To use HM3 with Parallels, you have to disable shared \Documents folder between OS X and Windows.

Please follow the guide from their website with possible solutions:
    https://kb.parallels.com/en/112983

    Specifically:
    2. Isolate Windows from Mac to exclude Mac OS X influence. (Virtual Machine > Configure… > Options > Security > check on Isolate Mac from Windows)
We are expecting the NC Beta for HM3 to be available soon. I don't have an exact date yet. Once it is available there will be an 'HM Advisory' in HM2 and HM3 to let everyone know the NC Beta for HM3 is live.

Note: HM3 Apps can only be used if you own a HM3 license, they can not be used if HM3 is in Trial mode.

Your NC license from HM2 will also work with HM3. Payments will only be required for new coaching packages.
