For anyone else that needs to know and hasn't figured it out already like the OP, if you want to import HUDs manually after the setup wizard ran and offered you the option:

- You can import them directly from HM2 using the HM3 - HUD - 'Import HM2 HUDs...' menu.
- If you/someone exported a profile from HM2's HUD designer then you need to use the HM3 - HUD - HUD Editor... - 'Options' button - 'Import HM2 Profile' menu.
