Tournament by Description report

It would be helpful if in the tournament by description report and other similar reports the lower panel would show the individual tournaments and not the hands of the selected tournament type.

Or is there another way to create this type of view?

This is not possible at this time, you would have to try and filter that report to just that one row using the Filter Editor or HMQL and then save or copy/paste that same HMQL filter you created to the 'Tournaments' report.

We wrote this up as a feature request though based on your suggestion.

Here are some example pics of me filtering the 'Tournaments by Description' report manually for just one row, saving the filter, then using that saved filter in the 'Tournaments' report.

This appears really cumbersome. What is the idea to look at results by description if one cannot directly from there select specific tournaments, or dates.

The initial solution (as it is in PT4) was soooo much better. It would be cool if this could be implemented in HM3.

Yeah, I am not the best at filtering (and rarely play tourneys) so that little filter took me a couple tries until I got it right myself. I am not sure if our devs will make HM3 able to drill down like PT4 did thru the same report/grid, or if they might just have it automate the type of filtering that I did above and switch you to the Tournaments report with the necessary filters automatically applied. You will be notified via email when we have added new functionality for this feature request.
