on a side note how do you exit the extended stats was it pops up?

If you never want to see them then you have to delete them from the HUD - HUD Editor - Table Groups - Assign Popups menu for the tabbed main popup, and remove them from any individual stats in the HUD that had stat specific popups assigned.

Once a popup is open you quick let click to close it, or right-click + hold and drag to reposition it and keep it open.

Unfortunately there is no FAQ there about this specific issue though yet, but we will try and add something to the 'Customizing your HUD...' FAQ about this in the future.
I am not certain how much detail there is but we may also go over this section of the HUD Editor in one or more of our video guides if you take some time to browse through them. Every menu in HM3 has at least one video if you use the Help - Video Guides menu.
