**restored note WTF**

It is highly useless to have a backup/restore option when all notes will be unreadable in the end.

For what reason will be a "**restored"-jadajadajada applied to all notes?
I know that they are restored, because I intentionally made a backup and restored them!!!!!

This spacewasting prefix makes it hard to read notes.

FIX THIS FAST. Even tho most fixes need to have a supporting crowd behind it.
This is different, a key component isnt working properly nor efficiently.
You should waste no time with explantions/arguments over this. Its just an odd idea to have it this way.

Is this happening on every/all restored notes even if they didn't already have some notes written? I think it is only supposed to happen for players in your database that have notes already and you restore notes to so you can distinguish the existing notes from the restored notes.

Confirmed. You are right about this.
It would be nice to have them restored w/o a big mess.
I obv dont understand why it is this way, maybe there will be a OVERWRITE all existing notes feature in the near future.

I think they used to over-write instead of append like HM1 so when fixing that issue we added the restored header so it was easy to see the restored notes vs the original notes. I will discuss this with the developer that made those changes to see what, if anything, can be done to improve this behavior and maybe give the user some more control over how it behaves.
