    Default Database back up

    Hi,

I need to format my computer and I want to be 100% sure that I don't lost my database. What are the files and folders that I should transfer to usb stick?

Last time used backup from Holdem manager and it was missing some hands.

So what should I do to be 100% sure that I won't be missing any hands ?

    Thank you!

Please see this FAQ to transfer/backup data - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...dem+Manager%3F

This will ensure that you have your hand histories and HUD saved to import into a new computer, and as a backup to restore in case of an emergency. I recommend you do this at least once a month and keep the last 2 or 3 most recent backups (and your \HM2Archive folder) stored on an external drive and/or cloud storage site like dropbox or google drive.

You should use the DB manager to backup the DB/Settings and you should also backup the \HM2Archive folder of auto imported hands. If you ever manually imported hands to the database they should be part of the database backup, but not in the archive folder. If you want to be certain you have copies of all manual and auto imported hands in case there are issues backing up or restoring via PSQL then you could also manually export the hands from the databaase via the DB Manager.
