Latest version of PostgreSQL to install

I'm installing both HM2 and PT4 on a new computer, can you tell me what's the latest version of PostgreSQL that will work on both please?

Also is performance significantly better on a SSD over a regular hard drive?

An SSD will absolutely improve the performance of every program, and significantly HM/SQL

We recommend the 9x version, except for 9.3

Thanks, as luck would have it, I installed 9.3 and have had some issues with it.
Just to confirm I'm thinking of uninstalling HM2, PostgreSQL 9.3 and installing 9.6 and reinstalling HM2. It should be ok then, right?

Yes, or 9.6 is solid. The newer ones we have not tested as much.
