My serial number hacked?

Hi,
I had been a while since I played my last hand and when I tried to launch HM2 I was told that I already had two computers using this serial number. I have never used it in a computer other than mine (and I've had the same pc for years), so could my serial number have been hacked? I went into my account and reset these the two computers, so now the problem is solved.
