Old assaultware notecaddy license, says invalid HM2 key when trying to transfer

each time I get an invalid hm2 key message. please help.

Does the key you're entering start with HM2-? I know if I look at my licenses page on the HM site now it will show several keys so it's easy to pick the wrong one

code had the HM2. problem solved though. seems like I was getting that error but it did in fact register it properly.
