Default How to export only Hero hand if my drive is 90% full?

    Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to ask for help how to export only my hands (~1 milion). My database is 200GB large despite HM2 showing only 110GB. Is it possible to export hero hands if I do not have disk space for swap files? Please help, I need this hands!

I do not have another drive and even if, the empty space for swap file must be on the same drive as the hands I suppo563773977ff089f64d1014ad6d164089.png

Move the c:\hm2archive to dropbox or google drive, or filedropper.

Are there datamined hands? If so, we do not provide support for them. Create a new database and only import your played hands. Delete the other to free up space.

Do you have a lot of note caddy notes?

Your hard drive is too full. You should always have at least 20% free space. Please see this FAQ - Hold'Em Manager 2 FAQs - Poker Software :: I'm Running Out of Disk Space

Unfortunately in the hm2archive folder there are only 32.000 hands of 750.000 hands of my hero that I have in my main database. So the only way is to somewhat export my hero hands from my main 200GB databse.

Do you know how I can do this? Please help

I do not have any caddy notes, they are off. I also do not use Caddy.

    Purge non-hero hands.

You need to back up hands regularly.

Please see this FAQ to transfer/backup data - Hold'Em Manager 2 FAQs - Poker Software :: What Files Should I Backup to Protect my Holdem Manager?

This will ensure that you have your hand histories and HUD saved to import into a new computer, and as a backup to restore in case of an emergency. I recommend you do this at least once a month and keep the last 2 or 3 most recent backups (and your \HM2Archive folder) stored on an external drive and/or cloud storage site like dropbox or google drive.

I did purge all non-hero hands through the build in Database Manager in HM2 but this did not change my database size at all, it is still 110GB big. I also did full database Maintance but that did not help either.

Is the purge option broke? What should I do in this situation?

If that did not work, create the new database and import only hero played hands.

If I delete the old database I will loose all my hands that are in it. How can I do this in this circumstances?

You import your played hands from c:\hm2archive as we said.
