    Default Super slow import question

My database was getting too big and I wanted to purge old hands outside of last 6 months (2017). I did, but didn't like NoteCaddys "purge" warning so instead I:

    (1) Exported all hero hands
    (2) Exported last 6 months of all hands
    (3) Deleted all DBs
    (4) Created new DB, imported old hands @300/sec average

Notecaddy is moving extremely slow to process notes. 8.6 hands / sec. Its gonna take like 4 days at this point. I remember back in the day it going like 400hands/sec and slowing down eventually to something like 100hands/sec. I have an I7 and HEM /POSTGRES is on an SSD. I have wanted to upgrade Postgres for awhile so now I tried:

    (1) Un-installed HEM and POSTGRES
    (2) Cleaned up leftover folders not removed during install
    (3) Re-installed HEM v8470, and Postgres 9.3 (recommended by Fozzy)
    (4) Configured Postgres log settings to not keep logfiles
    (5) Re-imported hero+6 months of hands @300 hands/sec

Notecaddy is still moving extremely slow at under 10 hands / sec. I have 3/4 cores assigned to it. CPU performance doesn't spike past 72%. Everything is a fresh install. Hard Disk sentinel says nothing wrong with the SSD health. Turbo hand grabber is enabled. Something I could change? What could be wrong? Thanks in advance

Are you seeing big logs for NC? Sometimes when something goes very wrong it will make huge logs. You'd find them in

    C:\Users\{windows_login}\AppData\Roaming\HoldemMan ager\NoteCaddyLogs

There are many other optimizations you can make. Here is a good document describing them http://www.notecaddy.com/NoteCaddy%2...ide%20v1.2.pdf

No I had logging disabled. No idea whats causing it but I just re-did the above on my desktop and I will make a backup to restore to the laptop. Desktop is importing at normal 200+ hands / sec. Still dont like not knowing why but oh well I geuss..
