    Default restore db

Hi, I was trying to follow the steps in this thread:

Script to analyze population tendency on HEM - Page 5 - Heads Up SNG and Spin and Gos -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

But I failed and now my HM2 crashes every time I go to "Select Player". I tried to create an alias with way too many players and I guess my PC can't handle it.

My question is how to restore my database? I have made a backup, so should I just find the DB in pgAdmin III, right click and select 'restore'? In the thread he isn't very specific about the steps to do that.

Or maybe there's some way to just delete the problem alias using a postgreSQL query? I've never used pgSQL before but I'm sure if that is a solution it is going to be a pretty simple bit of code...

    Thanks!

Go to edit alias and delete that alias.

if you sto;; have trouble, Sometimes, if there are other players that have multiple hole cards showing can be read as the hero. This causes their hands to reset on the table, as if they were you. Note that editing the database could result in a corrupt database so only attempt this if you know what your doing. Please see these steps to reset the hero:

    1) Please open PGAdminIII (Start - Postgres)

    2) Enter your pw (default is postgrespass)

    3) Open databases - expand DB name - expand schemas - expand public - expand Tables

    4) Choose settings, right click - view data, show all rows

    5) Clear the value in the second row (current player)

    6) Restart HM2

PGAdmin info screen looks like this - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/null.png
