    Default NoteCaddy freezes

    Hi! sorry about my english

I have last version of all the programs!

    My PC:

    - Intel Core i7-6700K, Skylake, 4.00 GHz, 8M, soxket 1151
    - Motherboard Asus Z170-A
    - 4 x RAM DDR4 8192Mb PC21300 2666MHz Kingston HyperX
    Fury Black CL15 [HX426C15FBK2/16]
    - Gigabyte GF GTX 750, 1G DDR5
    - 2 x SSD 250G, Samsung 850 EVO MZ-75E250BW

RAID *I ALSO TRIED without RAID, with only one disk

    - RAID Level: RAID0(Stripe)
    - Strip Size: 16Kb *I ALSO TRIED 64Kb and 128Kb

I install Windows 10 x64, all last updates and drivers for it

I install HM2 with PostgreSQL 8.4 * I ALSO TRIED preinstall PostgreSQL 9.0, 9.1, 9.3 with and without NoteCaddy Performance settings

    - i install NET.Framework 3.5 (HM2 ask for it during installation)
    * I ALSO TRIED without it

    - i update HM2 for 2.0.0.8454
    * I ALSO TRIED without it

    - i update NoteCaddy
    * I ALSO TRIED without it

    - i do NoteCaddy speed improvement
    * I ALSO TRIED without it or different values

I added exceptions in Windows Firewall and Windows Defender for:
    HoldemManager.exe
    HudFuncsApp.exe
    pg_ctl.exe
    postgres.exe
    * I ALSO TRIED without it

I imported about 2 million hands (DB size: 3123Mb)
    * I ALSO TRIED import a small amount of hands (DB size was less than 1Gb)

    I do maintenance
    * I ALSO TRIED without it
    and vacuum in NoteCaddy
    * I ALSO TRIED without it

I always get the same result.

I start creating notes in NoteCaddy. Program processes some hands, then freezes. Program shows speed 0,00 hands per second and nothing happens. In the same time CPU and RAM has about 100% loading. HM2 is not responding, i can close it only with task manager (sometimes only with reset button, system freezes too). After restart computer i noticed that pagefile.sys size increased (up to 40Gb!). After restart computer if i start HM2 and go to NoteCaddy it freezes with system again.

In the last few attempts I've noticed that NC freezes when "Processing hand 558"

    Please help!

My apologies for the inconvenience. If possible please do a database backup

Then upload to one of the popular sharing sites

    https://transfer.pcloud.com/
DropSend - Email large files and send large files
    https://www.wetransfer.com/

and send a link to support@notecaddy.com so I can try to replicate the issue. Please post here so I can find the email. Again my apologies for the inconvenience.

Thank you. I received it and see that there is, in fact, an issue. I will try to get a fix in the next couple of days. Again my apologies for the inconvenience.

Please try to auto update to 2.6.0.14 which has improved handling for the specific error that was found in many of the hands in your database

Ok nice to hear so did you simply update to the latest NC version ( i believe it is 2.6.0.14) and it was gone?
Because i am also running the latest NC version and still experiencing the problem you described

The problem probably has a different root cause. My initial response to Marjel and the fact that he sent me everything made it easy to discover the problem and fix it. If you do what he did I can try to help
