Unhappy Marked hands from old base to new one

    Hello.

My base became quite big so I decided to create a new one, which contains hands for last few months. I exported hands, imported them in my new base and noticed that markings aren't saved. So I made old base active again, made backup for markings and notes only (skipped base) like this:

    backup.png

and restored it in a new base.

Nothing happed, there is still no marked hands in the new base.

    Help me please.

Do they show if you do the full backup and restore?

    Do notes show?

How big is the backup file?

    Try this on the original:

Please try to vacuum/analyze and reindex your database - Hold'Em Manager 2 FAQs - Poker Software :: Database Manager (Ribbon)

If you continue to have problems, try the following:

Try creating a new DataBase and import a small portion of your \HM2Archive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - Hold'Em Manager 2 FAQs - Poker Software :: How to create a new database and import previously played hands

If the new database seems to work properly, it sounds like your database might be corrupt. Please continue to use the new database and import the rest of your hands using the steps above. This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results if necessary. I recommend keeping at least the most recent 2 or 3 backups in case the most recent one does not restore properly you can try the previous backup.

Here is a FAQ explaining how to backup your database and all settings in one easy step - Hold'Em Manager 2 FAQs - Poker Software :: How does Backup and Restore Database, Settings and HUD configs work?

Forgot to notice the fact that I paid for Notecaddy and used it in the new base. Could it be the reason of problems?

I can't do full backup and restore because I have only 8GB of free space now, and there is about 20kk hands in my old base.

BTW notes and color marks are restored in the new base. I tried to restore it three times and after all notes in the new base look like this:

    notes.png

So the problem is only with marked hands.

And I don't think an old base is corrupted. I can use any hands from any time (import/export).

The disk space is a big problem.

Your hard drive is too full. You should always have at least 20% free space. Please see this FAQ - Hold'Em Manager 2 FAQs - Poker Software :: I'm Running Out of Disk Space

You have to have the space. The full drive can corrupt the database and the steps above need to be followed after fixing the space issue.
