Please make sure you have the latest update installed for your PokerStars client.

    - Close HM2 and PS client
    - Download this ZIP - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/zoomfix.zip
    - Unzip it (right-click > Extract All...) anywhere on your PC - it contains the only one BAT file.
    - Right click on the 'zoomfix.bat' file* > Run as administrator
    * Note: Windows hides 'known file extensions' by default - Hold'Em Manager 2 FAQs - Poker Software :: How are Hidden Files Viewed in Windows?
    - After .bat file finalizes it's job you will see a message in Notepad then you should be able to launch PokerStars and HM2.

Please let us know if this does/doesn't work for you either way.

*If you continue to have problems:

Which ps.xx skin do you play and what are the Poker Stars client/server version numbers?

Please duplicate the issue and send us log files with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing:
    - Open Windows Event Viewer's (Control Panel > System & Security > Administrative Tools or Start > Search > 'Event Viewer') > Windows Logs > Applications.
    - Check for any errors and send the information (Save All Events As...).
    - Please send a log file as well - Hold'Em Manager 2 FAQs - Poker Software :: How Do I Send a Log File to Holdem Manager Support?

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.

Has there been updates on this. There seems to be a conflict between HEM2 an Pokerstars. For the last couple of weeks, Pokerstars keeps freezing/crashing with a white screen then closing.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times, then couldn't open the client at all, although when I run the attached batch file above, it seems to work ok. Any suggestions??

Does PS crash when HM2 is not being used?
    Are you on Windows 7?
There have been quite a few reports of PS crashing recently on 2+2 forums
The most common fix is to update the display/graphics/video card driver
Current version of PS doesn't 'like' out-of-date Windows display driver so it's effecting users with older Windows versions who haven't kept their drivers up-to-date

    NOTES
It is vital to update to the correct driver
Update your Windows FIRST before updating drivers [this is important]
When windows updates are complete reboot
Check windows updates again in case new updates are detected after the reboot
Repeat above until no new updates come up
If you get a message from Microsoft asking if you want to upgrade to Win 10 then refuse this for now & deal with it another day

READ THIS: How to Update Your Graphics Drivers for Maximum Gaming Performance

I prefer to find what card I have & go that cards website [not a 3rd party site!]
Let the website autodetect my card & windows version
    Download & install & reboot
You can roll back a new driver to the old one if you have problems with the new one, but research how to roll back before updating
As an added precaution make a restore point after fully updating Windows

Just tried to update my driver manually and through manufacturers website. When I used there AutoDetect. download it says We were unable to find a driver for your system. Your operating system may not be supported.

Are you on the latest Vista Service Pack?
It's SP2 & this will tell you if you are or not & also how to update to it:

Once you have that sorted out and REBOOTED try to get the driver again
If there isn't one to be found then reply here with...

    Card make & model
current driver version [it will tell you in the properties for your card under the "driver" tab. something like "10.18.13.6822"]

Im already on SP2 for Vista
I actually tried removing the driver and rebooted, which then reinstalled it

Pokerstars doesnt even open, even when Holdem Manager is closed. When I run the Zoomfix.bat as administrator then it will open, although when I then open HEM2 I get a popup saying 'The PokerStars client needs to be configured for Zoom. Please restart Pokerstars.'

I then close Pokerstars and it won't open again until I run the Zoomfix.bat

    ATI Radeon HD 3450
    Driver Version: 8.581.0.0

When I try to update inside Device Manager it just searched Online for software for ages

I think your last driver update is 8.97.100.11
For 32bit Vista read this: Legacy
For 64bit Vista read this: Legacy

Open the link above that applies to you
There's two orange Download buttons on the page
You want the top one which is the Catalyst Software Suite from 2013
This will [among other things] install the very last driver update for your card

I think you should definitely create a restore point before embarking on this download/install
    And of course reboot afterwards

The second orange Download button is for HydraVision which is management software for multi-monitor support [even ones with differing resolutions]. Don't download that until this is resolved...

    SOUND CARD
Something else to consider if the above fails is turning off sounds in PokerStars for a few weeks until their next major update
