Default Snowie's a bad idea guys

You are already getting unwanted attention. You should be sprinting away from all things bot-like until your legs give out imo, not incorporating them into your software. Don't you realize you're pouring gasoline on what should be a containable fire? You must realize there is an ongoing, growing and incredibly persistent effort to ban all HUDs from online poker in general and PokerStars in particular? With this new product rollout you're making the worst lunatic ravings of the anti hud crowd look if not justified, at least like they're on to something.

You are risking getting your product completely, permanently banned not to mention associating yourselves with the unseemliest branch of the pokersphere.

Bots should be anathema, not half price for existing customers.

SnowieApp for HM2 is a training tool and can ONLY be used as a training tool. In fact, it can only used to analyze hands IN YOUR HM2 DATABASE.

To avoid even the appearance that it could be used in live games, we further restrict customers from even opening it when a poker client is open.

In addition, none of the AI logic is even contained within the HM2 source code.

We met in-person with PokerSnowie management before the project even began. The entire team is professional, responsive and highly in tune with the obligation that they have to ensure that their work is not used in a way that violates any poker sites terms of service. The principles of their company are businessmen that have a long demonstrated track record of expertise and integrity based on other non-poker related projects that they are involved in.

In summary, we released SnowieApp for HM2 only after due diligence that we were working with a highly respected and established partner with industry leading technology. Then we took extreme measures to ensure that SnowieApp could NEVER be used in any way that violates the letter or spirit of any poker sites terms of service.

I hope this addresses your concerns as they apply to our specific product.

    Regards,

    Jim Varnon

No one who's gonna give you s*** gives a s*** about any of that. I personally love your product. I'm the choir, a true believer. No further preaching required.

    You're making a bad mistake.
