cant login with my key

I just formatted my computer. When i come to where i put my key in and then push activate licence button it tells me to login to my HM2 account. When i have done this and pushed login it send me back to the page where i should put my licence key in and push activate licence. I'm on my trial month, does this have anything to do with this?
