Default Licensing IPCTester has encountered a problem and needs to close....

    Hello,

I posted a thread awhile ago asking why HEM2 wasn't working on zoom tables.

I got a reply that I should update to the latest beta version and that's what I did.

Upon starting HEM2 and then starting the zoom tables, I received a message and it said "Licensing IPCtester has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Upon clicking on "what data does this error report contain?" I was shown error.PNG

    Any suggestions?

I run a windows xp 32 bit system.

    Thanks!

This is because Windows no longer supports XP and did not release Microsoft.net 4.5 for it. This file is needed for Zoom. We are looking into this to see if there is a way around it, but do not have an ETA.

    any suggestions thus far?

I'm looking at other options myself like upgrading to vista.

If you're going to upgrade, I'd do either 7 or 10. Vista and 8 are stepping stone OS's that had things that didn't get fully fleshed out until 7 and 10.
