How to optimize NoteCaddy and HEM 2 performance?

Whenever my DB gets over ~500K hands, NoteCaddy and HEM 2 become so slow that I cannot effectively send my actions to the tables when 6-tabling. I have vacuumed DB in NoteCaddy and performed the maintenance within HEM 2. I have an SSD, 16GB of RAM, and an Intel Core i7 (3.10GHz). I use about 175 NoteCaddy Definitions. How many threads should I use for NoteCaddy to get things to run best (I have 8 total)? Are there any other tweaks I can make to improve performance?

Thank you for that. I am unable to add firewall exceptions for .dll files, even if I type the name as suggested in the link. Any idea how to get around this?
